Day 1

Arrive in Istanbul, you’ll be greeted at the airport by our team and VIP transferred to your 5 Star Hotel. Our medical team will meet you at the hotel to conduct pre checks inc. blood samples.

Day 2

Transplant Day, you’ll be picked up with VIP transfers from the hotel to our hospital. You’ll meet with our head surgeons for a consultation to design your perfect hairline, once happy we’ll proceed with the operation. Depending on how many grafts are required, this will take 4-6 hours. Afterward you’ll be transferred back to your hotel. Our medical team will be available 24/7.

Day 3

Final Day, after being transferred from the hotel back to the hospital for final checks by our Doctors. Your hair will be washed, cleaned and aftercare instructions / kit will be provided. After this you’ll be transferred back to the hotel and can continue on with your trip.

Return to Australia - once home, our Australian team will follow up and check in on progress / provide any aftercare support.

Post-Operative Care: What to Expect?

Post-operative care is what makes all the difference in achieving a beautiful transformation. It is normal to experience discomfort and after-effects after the surgery. Some patients may experience:

Swelling

Lasts for 1 to 2 days post-surgery. Sometimes this gravitates to the eyes and may also be lopsided. The swelling will usually subside within 2 to 3 days without any medication or application.

Bleeding

The donor area may experience some minor bleeding which can be quelled by applying light pressure with some gauze till it stops.

Infection

Like any procedure, there is a minor possibility of infection and should be communicated to the clinic for immediate attention.

Numbness/tingling sensation

This may occur in the recipient area due to the formation of peripheral skin nerves. This sensation may last for weeks or months, but it will settle down without intervention.

Mild Pain

Both donor and transplanted areas may experience continuous or sporadic pain and tenderness. The doctor will recommend appropriate antibiotics and pain medication for this.
